This is a book for everyone who belongs to a parish – especially for those who do not feel totally part of their parish. Everyone in the parish, just as much as the priest, is called to help to make the parish a better place to live in, called to build up the Kingdom of God on earth. Enda Lyons does not describe parish as it is; he presents a vision of what parish might be and ought to be. It is a challenging vision, as any vision for a Christian community must be.
