In this book, Glen O’Brien recounts some spiritual experiences of gay men –
his own and those of friends. He then reflects on these experiences in the light of stories and events in the gospels. These reflections express joy in the experience of being gay; a recognition of God’s love and compassion in living as a gay person; experiencing the presence of God in the presence of a lover/partner; the pain and the agony that many gay people suffer; their sense of permanent exclusion from the Christian community.
These reflections will be read with joy by some, with concern by others.
They may help, challenge, perhaps annoy.
