This book is issued to encourage the prayer of the church and to prepare for the exciting venture of a new edition of the book that has nourished the worship of the Church of Ireland for the four hundred and fifty years since the Book of Common Prayer was published in 1551.
This book is being produced in the style chosen for the new edition of the Book of common Prayer, which will be published in 2004.
The book will be made available by the Church of Ireland direct to all stipendiary ministers.
