The newly designed, The Columba Press website goes live today on the world wide web. www.columba.ie aims to increase Columba’s online market share, gaining customers both nationally and internationally: Their strategy is to offer great customer service and the lowest prices. The Columba Press is Ireland’s most eminent religious publisher. It was founded in April 1985. Growing substantially since then, they now publish across a broad range of areas, including pastoral resources, spirituality, theology, the arts, and history. They currently have around 350 books in print. To achieve their website goals, Columba partnered with e-commerce experts Novena Consulting. Since 1995, Novena Consulting have been working to help businesses grow online. They work with many other publishers in Ireland and UK, as well as UK government bodies. The new Columba Press website features added extras, including extended content on the books such as extracts, additional imagery, author information and book launch details. The accessible layout is designed to navigate customers through the site in an exciting and informative way. In line with the next-generation style, customers will keep up-to-date with Columba Press news through regular newsletters and their personal account. Also, payments will now be processed in real time by Novena Consulting. In addition to this, The Columba Press is offering free delivery on all books to customers in Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland and a small delivery charge for international customers. Another step to offering the lowest prices, Novena applies customized technology to the site called The Price Tracker. This allows Columba to automatically track and match the prices of their biggest online competitors. The Price Tracker reviews every price once a week and adjusts where necessary. |
